Ankh of Anubis Awakening adds wilds through the Anubis Wilds feature. Ankh and wild symbols on a non-winning spin can start re-spins, holding the wilds while they expand vertically. Three or more scatters open free spins, where collecting five Ankhs adds more wilds. These held-and-expanding wild events define the sequel's mechanics; the futuristic Egyptian setting alone does not explain how its bonus differs from the 2019 original.
