Viking Runecraft lays rune symbols on a 7×7 board. Matching adjacent runes form wins, then the grid changes for another chance within the round. Four Norse gods—Thor, Odin, Freya and Heimdall—supply different Wild effects through the Gift of the Gods.

Only one god is active at a time. Thor can scatter Wilds, while Odin places paired Wilds; the other gods alter the board in their own ways. The grid game is distinct from Viking Runecraft Bingo, where numbered balls mark cards and perimeter patterns open bonuses.
