Sabaton uses the Swedish band's music and characters in a ten-line slot. Singer Joakim Brodén appears as a Wild, while the band logo is the Scatter. Nine logo symbols start seven Battalion Spins, where reels two to four are linked and high-value or Wild symbols can become oversized Mega Symbols.
Between three and eight Scatters can turn into a Mystery Symbol instead of launching Battalion Spins. The base game can also stack a chosen symbol or link adjacent reels. Those changing reel layouts, rather than the licensed soundtrack alone, explain how a spin in Sabaton differs from another music-themed game such as House of Doom.
