Gonzo's Quest replaces winning stone symbols through its Avalanche mechanic. New stones drop into the emptied positions, and successive wins in the sequence increase the multiplier; a non-winning result resets that progress. Free Fall scatters open a free-spin feature with a higher multiplier range than the main game. The falling blocks are therefore part of the result calculation, not just an animation after a conventional reel win.
